Christopher Huhta, M.D., F.C.C.P.
Dr. Christopher Huhta is a Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist who is board
certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
He received his medical degree from The University of Michigan Medical School and then completed an Internal
Medicine residency and a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at The University of Iowa Hospitals and
He practices primarily at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, and is on staff at a number of other
Dr. Huhta provides both inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultations. His practice is devoted to the
care of critically ill patients, as well as those with a variety of lung diseases, including emphysema, chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, cough, and lung cancer.
In addition, Dr. Huhta serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Michigan
State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Huhta sees patients in the outpatient setting at our Shelby Township office.
