Dr. Vashti Sharma is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. After earning her medical degree from St. George’s University, she came to Michigan from Canada to complete an internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital (St. John), followed by a pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital (Main).
She is dedicated to partnering with patients to be active participants in their own care by ensuring they understand their pulmonary disease. She is a faculty member of the pulmonary and critical care fellowship program at Henry Ford Hospital (St. John) and enjoys educating all levels of learners. Dr. Sharma is also committed to underserved populations and volunteers at a nonprofit primary care clinic (the MAPI clinic) that cares for uninsured patients.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially the bundle of joy they welcomed in 2025!
