Dr. Zalt is an esteemed medical professional, specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care. He holds certification in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Zalt earned his medical degree from Aleppo University, distinguishing himself by ranking 2nd in a class of 400.
His impressive medical journey continued with an internship and residency at St. Barnabas Hospital/ Cornell Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where he served as Chief Medical Resident and garnered multiple prestigious awards for his exceptional contributions to teaching and patient care.
Following his residency, Dr. Zalt pursued further specialization by completing fellowships in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital-Detroit in 2003. He later enhanced his expertise with an Interventional Pulmonology fellowship at Emory University, School of Medicine, in 2012.
Dr. Zalt is an integral part of the medical community, contributing his skills and knowledge as a staff member at Ascension St. John Hospital, Corewell Health Grosse Pointe, and Select Specialty Grosse Pointe. Currently, Dr. Zalt primarily practices at Ascension St. John Hospital, where he offers outpatient care to patients at our St. Clair Shores office.
