Dr. Alsamman earned his medical degree from the University of Alexandria School of Medicine in Egypt and then completed residency at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. After that he completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan. He is board certified in pulmonary medicine and critical care.
Dr. AlSamman has special interest in COPD and interstitial lung diseases in addition to general pulmonary medicine. He currently practices at Ascension St. John Hospital and Corewell Health Grosse Pointe. Welcoming new patients, he is actively seeing patients at our Saint Clair Shores and Shelby Township locations. He enjoys reading history, swimming and road trips.
